Biography

Dr. Nabendu B. Pramanik is from Kolkata, India. He received his undergraduate degree from Vidyasagar University in Chemistry (major). He earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India in 2016 on the synthesis of self-healing polymers via controlled radical polymerization under the guidance of Prof. Nikhil K. Singha. After that he worked with Prof. George John as a post-doctoral researcher in The City University of New York City College for one year. Then he joined Prof. Steven L Regen group at Lehigh University, Pennsylvania and worked there from 2017 to 2020 on hyperthin polymeric membranes for the separation of CO 2 from the flue gas. From December 2020 - December 2021 he worked as a post-doctoral research associate at UCSB under the guidance of Prof. Christopher Bates in the field of bottlebrush polymers.
