Marvin Santiago

Marvin Santiago pursued undergraduate studies at the Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City, Philippines. He worked under Dr. Fabian Dayrit on the extraction, isolation, and bioactivity testing of natural products for his BS in Chemistry degree, and under Dr. Soma Chakraborty on chitosan-based polymers for water purification for his BS in Materials Science and Engineering degree. For his MS in Chemistry, he worked under Dr. Jennifer Irvin on the synthesis and design of conducting polymer-based materials for biomedical and energy storage applications at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX.
