Biography

Leo graduated from Harvey Mudd College in 2025 with a B.S. in chemistry, where he conducted research on peptide amphiphile nanofibers under Professor Whitney Fowler and antimicrobial polymers under Professor Spencer Brucks. In the summer of 2024, Leo interned at Cyclopure developing polymeric adsorbents for PFAS, and in the summer of 2025, he interned at TU Delft in the Netherlands researching self-healing polymers under Professor Rienk Eelkema. Leo is now pursuing a Ph.D. in Materials and is co-advised by Professor Christopher M. Bates and Professor Rachel A. Segalman.
