Undergraduate Institution: University of Texas at Austin
Jeffrey attended the University of Texas in Austin as an undergraduate where he worked in the lab of Professor C. Grant Willson, synthesizing block co-polymers and studying their self-assembly in thin films. In 2016, he graduated with a B.S. in both Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, the latter with dual-concentrations in energy technology and materials fabrication. At the University of California Santa Barbara as a NSF Graduate Research Fellow, Jeffrey studied Materials Chemistry, co-advised by Profs. Chris Bates and Javier Read de Alaniz. His work focused on studying dynamic covalent networks for the development of stimuli-responsive materials.
