Biography

Cathy majored in biochemistry at UCSB. She started at UCSB in 2017 and joined the Bates group in the Fall of 2019. She graduated in 2021, planning to pursue a PhD in chemistry or material. She worked with Jeffrey Self to develop novel self-healing networks and developing syntheses for generating biomimetic materials.
