Biography

Carina Lin graduated from Cornell University in 2025 with a B.S. in Materials Science & Engineering. At Cornell, she worked with Prof. Ulrich B. Wiesner on silica and aluminosilicate nanoparticles for theranostics, as well as Prof. Julie M. Goddard on biocatalytic materials. Through summer research programs she studied fluorescent silver nanoclusters in UCI Prof. Zhibin Guan’s lab (2022), 3D-printed architected lattices with Prof. Minh-Son Pham at Imperial College London (2023), and light-responsive metallosupramolecular polymers under Prof. Christoph Weder at the Adolphe Merkle Institute (2024). Carina is now pursuing her PhD in Materials advised by Professor Christopher M. Bates.
